My Opinion on Vampirism
WHAT IS A VAMPIRE?
A vampire is a person
who needs to take energy from another person to survive, or believes
this is necessary. Vampirism is caused by demonic oppression (in other
words, a demon tries to convince the victim that he is sick and needs
blood or psychic energy to survive). A gene may be responsible for
making a person more susceptible to demonic attacks of this form. If
the demon succeeds in getting the victim to drink blood or absorb life
energy, it will eventually express itself in somatic changes such as a
phenomenal addiction to blood, an extreme sensitivity to light, and
superhuman strength and toughness.
Vampires look quite normal, especially the psychic vampires (people who
suck energy from other people's auras, emotions, or life force to feel
better), who often don't even realize that they are vampires. Contrary
to popular belief, vampires don't dress up in black clothes and capes;
they want to remain hidden, and for good reason. Vampires are generally
hated by human beings, especially sang-vamps (people who have a need to
drink blood).
Vampires don't typically enjoy being vampires. It is not a glamorous
life having to hide the fact that you drink blood or think you can suck
people's auras from your classmates or coworkers. Most normal
humans detest vampires and will attack them.
Vampires typically don't want to be vampires. It is something they are
stuck with, just like shifters are stuck with the longing to be beasts.
That is why I don't hate vampires, regardless of what certain
werewolves say. To me, people are people, all in need of salvation.
The practices of taking energy from other human beings for survival can
hurt other human beings, and vampires know this, so some of them try to
make as little impact on people as possible. For example, many
sang-vamps will only suck blood from 'donors' who allow such a thing.
Psy-vamps will only drain a little energy from a wide selection of
victims. However, their feeding can result in sickness for the victim
if they aren't careful. Personally, I am against taking energy from
people, but some vamps feel they have no choice.
Real vampires don't believe in the myths propagated by the movie
industry. For them, the Dracula stories are harmful because they spread
misinformation about vampires, leading to misunderstanding and
violence. The worst thing you can do for vampires is to drink blood so
you can be some elder, handsome, immortal aristocrat. This only tells
all the wannabe teenagers that vampirism is cool and everyone should do
it (HELLOOOO! WRONG!!). These wannabe vampires soon find out that the
vampire life is very hard, they get hurt, and it makes vampires look
like fiends instead of tormented human beings.
Vampires don't see their predicament as a lifestyle but a real disease.
They probably want to stop drinking blood or psychic energy just as
much as you want them to. But siphoning energy can become addictive.
Certain werewolves will probably ostracize me for my middle-of-the-road
views on vampires, but I care nothing for what other people think of me
because I'll always be an outcast. What's important to me is that I
reach vampires with the Word of God. Just because I have friends who
are vampires doesn't mean that I agree with their feeding habits. I am
being Machiavellian here.
BLOODPLAY AND OTHER ABOMINATIONS
This isn't a
condemnation of vampires themselves. I've already mentioned that I pity
them. This is my rant against the drinking of blood and bloodplay,
whether as a satanic ritual or for feeding or sexual deviance.
The act of drinking blood is an abomination. It is both disgusting and
dangerous.
The Bible expressly forbids it (Leviticus 17:10-14). Blood was ordained
by God to be the method of covering the sins of the people of Israel.
The price of sin was death, so the blood (=death) of animals took the
place of the lives of the Hebrews who made the offerings. By cleansing
one from sin, that person's path to destruction is reversed. Hence the
blood IS the life - it is a substitute for the life of the person who
sinned.
To drink blood expresses the following horrific ideas:
1) The blood-drinker makes himself God (the Hebrews sprinkled blood on
the Altar and the Mercy Seat, as well as using it to anoint priests).
Often blood is drunk for this very reason, and that is why it is a
satanic ritual.
2) The blood-drinker cheats death by drinking blood instead of being Saved like he's supposed to.
3) The blood-drinker scorns God's decree that blood is holy (reserved
for a particular use He appointed it for) and therefore performs a
sacrilege.
4) The blood-drinker may get a sadistic high from drinking blood and thus engages in perverse sexual gratification.
5) In some cases, the victim exists only to satisfy the blood-drinker's need.
Blood-drinking CANNOT be justified under any circumstances.
It is not equal to a blood-transfusion. That is different. That is one
man saving another's life by giving his life for him. Jesus even said
that no man has any greater love than to lay down his LIFE for another.
Blood-drinking is part of a new 'religion' of a morally degenerate and
apathetic society where human beings worship themselves as gods and
seek greater power over each other. It sickens me to see how morbid and
depraved our world has become in twenty years. Don't believe me? Go to
your local video rental store and see how many new vampire movies came
out on video this year. This nation is obsessed with preserving its
youth and obtaining supreme power at any cost.
Then there is the theme of predatory sexuality pervading these vampire
movies and comic books. As if drinking blood is an actual turn-on! No,
its a fetish, and a dangerous and disgusting fetish at that! Real
vampires should ban such entertainment.
Every pathogen that can make you sick can travel through the blood. So
when you drink blood, you aren't drinking life, you are drinking death.
Bloodplay is a related horror that some people in the vampire culture
are into. Cutting people for sexual arousal may be intimate for some
people, but its dangerous. What if you cut your friend and he won't
stop bleeding? I'm certain he'd be frightened to death and won't be
much of a lover afterwards. I put bloodplay on the same level as
autoerotic asphyxiation (hanging one's self for masochistic
gratification). They're both dangerous and they're both perverse.
PSYCHIC VAMPIRES
The prevailing theory
about psychic vampires is that they are a real danger. Yes, there are
people who can make you feel tired when they talk to you, but whether
or not people can actually drain you of energy, I'm not sure that's
possible.
If there were actually as many psychic vampires out there as the
New-Age people said there was, then mankind as a whole would become
sluggish and apathetic as a result of unrestrained draining.
If there are any true psychic vampires, then they are a rare variant,
because psychic powers require demons to bestow them. A real psychic
vampire must have had some trouble of the supernatural kind and not
just be a 'mutant' or a gifted human.
Of course, I'm not implying that psy-vamps are raving demoniacs. They
are probably just a target for demons and need assistance to fight off
the diabolical powers oppressing them.
"HOW DO I KNOW IF I'M A VAMPIRE?"
You're a sang-vamp if
the thought of blood-drinking not only doesn't gross you out but
entices you. Eating blood-sausage and other such 'deli-meats' doesn't
count. If you feel so weak that you need to drink blood to replenish
your minerals, then you're a sang-vamp. Some sang vamps exhibit signs
of demon-possession such as aversion to sunlight and regeneration.
Personally, I don't think the 'need' to drink blood is a need at all,
but a temptation. My advice: resist it. If you persist in drinking
blood, your physiology WILL CHANGE to adapt to your new diet and you'll
have a heck of a time trying to stop drinking blood afterwards.
As for psychic vampirism, if you feel energized when around people and
telling them your problems, this may be a good indication of being a
psychic vampire (or you could be simply a nutjob like me who finds
unloading to a social worker very cathartic). As with blood-drinking,
the ability to take energy from other people is a constant temptation.
My advice is to change your diet, exercise, and spend some time alone
in the wilderness and let the earth itself energize you.
There are other ways to tell if you or someone you know is a vampire,
but diagnosing this condition in someone who isn't aware of it is
difficult.
VAMPIRE HUNTING AND SOULCATCHING
There are people
in existence who think its their job to kill vampires. People like that
should be in jail. These 'hunters' only make the vampires more wary
towards honest people like me who only want to spread the Gospel to
them. I detest this vampire-hunting attitude as much as I hate blood
drinking. There are some vampires who go overboard with their lust and
kill people, but these vampire hunters don't discriminate between
'good' and 'bad' vampires. Yes, please do take down the rogue vampires
who hurt people, but leave the nice vampires to people like me.
'Soulcatching' is the term used to refer to any method that trains or
convinces a vampire to reject his craving for someone else's energy.
Often this is quite violent and involves kidnapping the vampire.
As for me, I prefer to keep my soulcatching to the Web where I can
politely, gently, and anonymously help vampires get the help they need.
How do I do it? Simple. I befriend the vampire, console him, and
suggest that he accepts Jesus as his Lord, just as I would any unsaved
person.
Love you. God Bless.
